Sara Espinoza, born in Zapotlán, Jalisco, began her musical study in Gregorian chant at the age of 8, with classical technique being her first influence.
At the age of 11, jazz, bossa and contemporary music took on an important presence in her life; she participated as a vocalist in the group “Los del Llano” (named after “El llano en llamas” by the writer Juan Rulfo). ).
From then on, her musical influences only diversified.
At 16 years old she composed her first song, “Lejos” inspired by trova and Mexican folklore. In the same year she began her solo project, mixing Latin American folklore, reggae and blues.
In 2018 she composed “I feel good” in which she seeks to propose a new genre, Yellow / Blues, which combines blues and reggae, where the protagonist is the message of positivity and hope.
Zapotlán el Grande, Colima, Guadalajara, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico City, Chiapas and Quintana Roo are the main places where she has shared her music. She has participated in festivals such as “The Tree Festival”, the closing of FILCO in 2022 and in social benefit projects such as “Nota Solidaria”.
In 2022 she begins to complement her performance by doing Live Looping; The creation of live music, mostly improvised, gives freshness and play to the concept.
We could describe her style as a mixture of poetry, a voice that shares the skill of vocal technique, but inseparable from the game of improvisation.
